Visual artist Aj Higgins was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1997. Having grown up with a creative family, and a keen interest in art from a young age, it was clear to those who knew her that art would be a definite part of her future.

She studied Fine Art in the Dublin School of Creative Arts at the Dublin Institute of Dublin, now known as the Technological University of Dublin (TUD). Her work ranges from photography, illustration, sculpture, screen print to experimental video. She is currently working in digital montage and image manipulation.

Aj became heavily involved in extra curricular activities in University and began working as a freelance graphic designer, and became popular for her work. In 2015, she was approached by VIDA and began selling her designs and photography on garments and clothing. Check out the online shop.
